I haven’t been blogging long, and while I question daily the time and effort I am putting into this task, I am beginning to see positive results. My fellow blogger has nominated my blog for an award out of the kindness of her heart.
The blogging community is an amazing group of people, and more specifically gluten free bloggers have been so welcoming to me. I have literally met friends that I wish I could have over for a glass of wine – right Dana at CeliaKiddo! You need to visit Dana’s blog whether or not you have food allergies, her writing is witty and comical (so much better than mine :)).
Sophie at Sophie’s Food Files has been another big supporter, always there with a fun comment or “like” to most everything I make.
The support of these people, and many others, helps me to continue baking and cooking new recipes (that aren’t always LOVED in my house, and don’t always turn out – the birds around here are fat on my bread mishaps).
But these people, and the fact that my daughter diagnosed with Celiac’s Disease is relying on me, push me forward each day to try something new, and make my daughter feel like she is missing NOTHING when it comes to food.
So it is with the humblest heart that I thank you Dana for this honor. This is definitely helping to make this adventure all worthwhile!
Dana has also nominated a few other blogs, which are all fantastic…
